Terms of Service — HumanPilot
Last updated: June 10, 2026
1. Service overview
HumanPilot is an Instagram growth SaaS, published and operated under the "HumanPilot" brand (hereinafter "HumanPilot", "we").
The service has two distinct components:
Pillar A — AI tools (server)
AI-assisted analysis and generation features: content analysis, text/visual suggestions, profile audit. Processing is performed on our servers from the data submitted by the user. No action is performed on Instagram on the user's behalf. These features are designed to comply with Instagram's terms of use.
Pillar B — Chrome automation extension
A Chrome extension that performs actions (follow, unfollow, interactions) directly in the user's browser, on their own authenticated Instagram session. HumanPilot neither stores nor accesses the user's Instagram credentials or cookies. Execution happens client-side, under the user's sole responsibility.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
Accessing and using the HumanPilot service implies full and entire acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the service.
The user must be of legal age (18 or older) and have the legal capacity to contract.
3. Account creation
- 3.1. Registration requires a valid email address. The user is responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.
- 3.2. One account per individual or legal entity. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent the service limits is prohibited.
- 3.3. HumanPilot reserves the right to suspend or delete any account whose use violates these Terms.
- 3.4. HumanPilot never asks for Instagram credentials (username/password) or the user's Instagram session cookies. Any request for such data outside the official HumanPilot platform must be considered fraudulent.
4. Price
HumanPilot is currently provided free of charge. There is no paid subscription. Usage may be subject to fair-use limits (for example a daily cap on AI generations) to keep the service stable for everyone.
If a paid plan is introduced in the future, these Terms will be updated and users will be informed beforehand; no charge will ever apply without prior notice and consent.
5. Acceptable use
The user agrees to use HumanPilot:
- In compliance with the laws applicable in their jurisdiction;
- Respecting the rights of third parties;
- Without attempting to bypass the service's technical security measures;
- Without reselling, renting or sublicensing access to third parties.
The following are notably prohibited:
- Using the service for harassment, spam or abusive behavior;
- Any attempt at unauthorized access to HumanPilot systems;
- Using automated accounts (bots) to register or interact with HumanPilot.
6. Intellectual property
The HumanPilot service, its code, interfaces, trademarks and any content produced by its AI tools remain the exclusive property of HumanPilot or its licensors. No operating license is granted beyond the personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use conferred by the subscription.
7. User responsibility — Pillar B (Chrome extension)
- 7.1. The user is solely responsible for how they use the HumanPilot Chrome extension on their Instagram account.
- 7.2. By enabling and using the extension, the user expressly acknowledges and accepts:
- That automating actions on Instagram may violate the Instagram Terms of Use and Meta's acceptable use policies;
- That their Instagram account may be subject to temporary restrictions (action limits, identity verification) or permanent ones (ban);
- That they use this feature at their own risk;
- That HumanPilot cannot be held liable for any consequence arising from the use of the extension on their Instagram account.
- 7.3.The user agrees to respect reasonable usage limits (see the "Warning and best practices — Chrome extension" document) to reduce the risk of detection by Instagram.
- 7.4. HumanPilot does not guarantee that the extension will remain functional following technical or policy changes by Instagram/Meta, without this giving rise to any compensation.
8. Limitation of liability
- 8.1. HumanPilot is a tool. HumanPilot is not responsible for the results obtained in terms of Instagram growth, engagement or revenue.
- 8.2.The service is provided free of charge. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HumanPilot's total liability towards a user is limited accordingly.
- 8.3. HumanPilot cannot be held liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, loss of data, reputational harm or Instagram account restrictions.
- 8.4.The service is provided "as is" without warranty of continuous availability, freedom from error or fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Termination
9.1 Termination by the user
The user may stop using the service and delete their account at any time from their personal area.
9.2 Termination by HumanPilot
HumanPilot may immediately terminate or suspend access to the service in case of:
- Violation of these Terms;
- Fraudulent or abusive use.
10. Changes to the Terms
HumanPilot reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed by email of substantial changes with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the service after the new Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the law applicable at the place of establishment of the service's operator. Any dispute relating to their validity, interpretation or performance falls under the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
